Concept provides advanced Microsoft Windows based tools that deliver a multi-language development environment for control system programming.
Uses familiar, standardised editors bundled in a single application to create and integrate PLC control, communication and diagnostic logic.
IEC languages:
Five IEC editors give users the freedom to choose the programming language that fits their application requirements: Function Block Diagram (FBD), Ladder Diagram (LD), Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Structured Text (ST), and Instruction List (IL).

Concept V2.5 programming software for PLCs can upload IEC pro-grams without having the original source code in the PC, IEC offline memory prediction, and im-proved hot standby capabilities. Concept V2.5 is compliant with IEC 61131-3, and provides a multi-language development program for control system programming. Programmers can upload IEC programs and all tagnames in the PLC by turning on a preference in the code menu. Users can export or import complete projects, sections, variable list or configuration information from or to other Concept applications. This is said to achieve significantly faster results in every phase of application development, from specification to implementation.
